Before you book
Who are Keplorators?
Independent local guides who partner with Keplora. Each one writes their own walk, names their own price, and is reviewed by the clients who book them.
What if I've already paid?
You can still cancel from your bookings page. You get a full refund up to 72 hours before the start, 50% between 72 and 24 hours before, and nothing in the last 24 hours. The refund goes back to your card automatically and takes 5 to 10 business days to show. If you cancel before the charge, the hold is simply released and nothing appears on your statement.
What if my Keplorator can't make it?
They can decline or propose another time. On a decline, Keplora looks for another Keplorator with the same language and a similar price before it ever reaches a refund.
What if my Keplorator doesn't show up?
Your Keplorator is only paid once you confirm the Session took place. If they didn't show up, or something else went wrong, report it from your bookings: the payment stays on hold while Keplora looks into it, and if the Session didn't happen you're refunded in full. If you don't answer within 48 hours of your Keplorator closing the Session, it's confirmed automatically.
Do I need my own smart glasses?
Yes, and so does everyone in your party. Each person's glasses stream their own view to the Keplorator.

Terms & payment
Keplora is a booking platform. The Keplorator you book is an independent local guide who leads your session remotely through your own smart glasses.
Your card is only authorized now: the amount is held, not charged. It's charged when free cancellation ends, 72 hours before the start, or about six days after you book if the Session is further away, because a hold on a card can't last longer. If you cancel while the amount is only held, the hold is released and nothing is charged.
If your Keplorator declines, Keplora looks for another Keplorator with the same language and a similar price, never more than the amount held. If no one is found, the hold is released.
Demo only: no real charge happens here. In production this is a genuine Stripe authorization, captured only when your Keplorator accepts.
